Mr. Tanveer Tara is specialist in field of conventional Hematology and Transfusion Medicine. His research work fit in Hematology and Blood Bank. He supervised many students at undergraduate level in the aforementioned area. However, his diverse personality compels him to conduct research on a topic like molecular biology and microbiology ,his research work was SSC Mec typing of Methicillin Resistant staphylococcus aures.
Mr. Tanveer Tara is currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) at National Skills University (NSU), Islamabad. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology and Master’s Degree in Hematology from esteemed Baqai Medical University Karachi in 2002 and 2007 respectively. He pursued his MS in Molecular Biology from prestigious VU Lahore Pakistan. He is life Time member and Master Trainer of Pakistan Biological safety Association (PBSA) who served in Collaboration with NIH-Fogarty International USA.
Mr. Tara set of his professional career in 2007 from Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital Lahore, where he served as Medical Technologist. He then shifted to Saudi Arab and joined eminent Future Medical Laboratories as Lab Scientist and served for 6 years. However, the love of homeland drew him to Pakistan in 2016. He then joined NCS University System Peshawar as Senior Lecturer and due to his adherence and commitment towards tasks in hand, he was Promoted to Pathology Lab Technical Head in the aforementioned organization. He also served at Sarhad University of Science and Information Technology Peshawar (SUIT) and NCS-Institute of Sciences Islamabad as Lecturer and Assistant Professor respectively.
Mr. Tara is Member of Board of Studies at Iqra National University (INU) Peshawar, and peer reviewer of Khyber Medical University Journal (KMUJ). Moreover, He was the Vice President of KPK Association of Allied Health Technologist, member of Medical Laboratory Technology Association of Pakistan, and SCFHS Lab Specialist.
He has organized numerous Seminars on Lab Biosafety in various higher education institutions such as Abasin University and Sarhad University of Science and Information Technology.
