Prof. Dr. Hashim Nisar Hashmi is working as Professor at National Skills University. He is a gold medalist and has 34 years of academic, research, industrial, and administrative experience at UET Taxila and 3 years at Muslim Youth University (MYU), Islamabad. He published over 128 research papers in international & national journals and conferences. He has 72 M.Sc. and 07 Ph.D. theses to his credit. He completed BSc (Hons) in Civil Engineering from UET, Lahore, securing 1st Position for best overall performance, winning University Gold Medal and Quaid-e-Azam Merit Scholarship. He did his Ph.D. and Post-Doctorate (under Commonwealth Scholarship Scheme) in Civil Engineering from Queen’s University of Belfast, United Kingdom. He won the Best University Teacher Award of HEC for the year 2008.
