Dr. Hussain Dawood is working as an Associate professor at the Department of Information Technology Engineering, National Skills University, Islamabad, Pakistan. Before joining the NSU, he was working as an associate professor at Department of Computer and Network Engineering, College of Computer Science and Engineering (CCSE), University of Jeddah (UJ), Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Prior to it, he was working as an assistant professor at Department of Computer Engineering, University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila, Pakistan. He also served as a member of the ABET and NCAAA Accreditation Committee in CCSE. He also worked as an active part of the teams that developed undergraduate programs in AI, Computer and Network Engineering and the graduate program in Computer Engineering.

He did his BS in Computer Engineering from COMSATS University, Islamabad in 2009, Pakistan. He did his MS and PhD in Computer Application Technology, from Beijing Normal University, Beijing, China, in 2012 and 2015, respectively. He have been awarded the Chinese Government Scholarship for MS and PhD. He got different distinctions during this period. He have taught various courses on undergraduate and graduate level. He have authored/co-authored around 60 papers among these 40 are Impact factor journal papers. Also, he has applied for one US patent. He completed four projects as PI and couple of as Co-PI.
