Dr. Irfan Jamil serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering Technology at National Skills University, Islamabad. He pursued his BSc, research-based MSc and PhD in Civil Engineering from UET Peshawar. His PhD research topic was “Response of Piled Raft Foundation: An Experimental and Numerical Study”. During his master’s research work, he developed a simplified model for the analysis of Piled Raft Foundation named as “WMPR” Winkler model for Piled Raft.

He published more than 20 papers in National & International peer-reviewed journals. His area of specialty is structural Engineering with a focus on the Soil-Structure interaction.
