The Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) at National Skills University (NSU) Islamabad serves as the central hub for fostering a research-oriented culture, promoting innovation, and driving commercialization activities within the university. ORIC is dedicated to empowering students, faculty, and researchers by providing the necessary resources, support, and guidance to transform innovative ideas into tangible solutions that address real-world challenges. The department plays a pivotal role in enhancing the university's research capabilities and ensuring that the knowledge generated at NSU contributes to the socio-economic development of Pakistan.

The vision of ORIC at National Skills University Islamabad is to establish the university as a leading institution in research, innovation, and commercialization, both nationally and internationally. Role

ORIC at National Skills University Islamabad plays a multifaceted role in the academic and professional development of students:

Innovation and Entrepreneurship:ORIC actively promotes innovation and entrepreneurship among students by organizing workshops, seminars, and competitions that foster creative thinking and problem-solving skills. The department also provides incubation services and connects students with industry experts and investors to help bring their ideas to market.
