Engr. Ahsan Shabir currently holds the position of a lecturer within the department of Electrical Engineering Technology at the esteemed National Skills University in Islamabad, Pakistan. His academic journey commenced with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University College of Engineering and Technology at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur in 2011. Building upon this foundation, he pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Power Engineering from the same institution in 2013, achieving this distinction with flying colors. Notably, he secured fully funded scholarships both during his Bachelor's and Master's studies.
With an impressive tenure of over a decade, Engr. Ahsan Shabir possesses invaluable teaching and professional experience within the realm of Power Engineering. His earlier career saw him serve as a lecturer at Quaid-e-Azam College of Engineering and Technology in Sahiwal. During this time, he also shouldered the responsibilities of Deputy Director within the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) and the Placement Bureau Cell (PBC). His competencies shine in the realm of developing and managing Electrical Laboratories, encompassing areas such as Power Distribution and Utilization, Power System Protection, and Machines.
Engr. Ahsan Shabir's proficiency extends to navigating diverse accreditation frameworks, including those of the National Technology Council (NTC) and the Pakistan Engineering Council (Washington Accord). He is well-versed in orchestrating their evaluations under Outcome-Based Education (OBE) level 2. Furthermore, he excels in the art of crafting Self-Assessment Reports (SAR). Throughout his service, he has been a pivotal player in both National and International projects in the expansive field of Power Engineering, with these endeavors being financially backed by IGNITE and the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
