His research interests include Modern Muslim Thought in the Subcontinent, Islam's response to science, and the theory of evolution in colonial India.
Muhammad Younus holds an M. Phil degree in Islamic Studies and currently pursuing PhD from the University of Karachi. He also had the privilege of working as a Fellow in the prestigious Madrassa Discourses Program at the University of Notre Dame, USA. His previous experience includes working as Lecturer in International Islamic University Islamabad.
His edited book was published by the Iqbal International Institute for Research & Dialogue (IRD). This book, Islamic Methodology in History by Dr. Fazlur Rahman, is a significant contribution by a renowned 20th-century scholar, available in Urdu. He also co-authored another book published by the Pak Institute for Peace Studies, titled Exploring Madrassa Mindset.
