This visit marks a pivotal moment in the ongoing partnership to advance educational opportunities for Pakistani students in collaboration with Hebei Vocational University of Industry and Technology (HVUIT), China.

The partnership, facilitated by TANG International Education Group, has led to developing an innovative program that allows Mechanical Engineering students from NSU to undertake a comprehensive industrial training experience at HVUIT. Commencing from Fall Intake 2024, this initiative underscores a commitment to practical, international learning experiences for students in the technical field.

"We are thrilled to announce this progressive collaboration between NSU and HVUIT," said Prof Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar, Vice Chancellor of the National Skills University Islamabad. "This program not only provides our students with invaluable international exposure but also deepens the bond between our countries in the crucial domain of technical education."

Key features of the program include:

  • Curriculum Integration: NSU students will spend two semesters at HVUIT for mandatory industrial training, enhancing their skills and global outlook.
  • Financial Support: HVUIT will cover logistics and training costs, ensuring a seamless learning experience for participating students.
  • Comprehensive Collaboration: The partnership aims to expand beyond Mechanical Engineering, potentially encompassing language studies and other technical disciplines in the future.

"This initiative reflects our commitment to fostering academic excellence and cultural understanding," added Dr. M Shehryar Manzoor, Professor at the National Skills University Islamabad. "We look forward to nurturing this partnership and exploring new avenues for educational cooperation."

The collaboration will be formalized upon approval from the Cabinet.
