National Skills University Islamabad Welcomes Fall 2024

As the Founding Vice Chancellor of National Skills University Islamabad (NSU), it is my utmost pleasure to extend a warm greeting to all our students, especially the newcomers, faculty members, staff, and stakeholders, as we embark on our 4th academic session since our establishment by the Government of Pakistan in the year 2018. I had the honor of being the Founding Vice Chancellor since October 2019, and the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan allowed us to start undergraduate programs for the Fall 2021 session.

 At National Skills University Islamabad, we are committed to providing a transformative learning experience that equips our students with the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed to thrive in an ever-evolving global job markets. As a technology-focused institution in the heart of the capital city, we are strategically positioned to contribute significantly to the country's technological advancement and socio-economic development.

 Our university, as part of a distinguished group of 230 UNEVOC Centres in more than 150 UNESCO Member States worldwide, holds a unique position in the country. You should feel proud and privileged to be part of this esteemed institution recognized nationally and internationally. In addition to the degree programs, NSU offers several skills training across various disciplines, reflecting our dedication to addressing the diverse needs of our society and fostering innovation-driven solutions.

Our collective efforts will propel us toward achieving the vision : To be a premier institution for skill-based technical education with a focus on excellence and economic empowerment of the youth."

The National Skills University Islamabad's dedicated faculty members and staff are here to support you every step of the way, ensuring you receive a world-class technical education with social and ethical skills that prepare you for success in your chosen field.  I extend my sincere gratitude to our esteemed Chancellor/President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Pro-Chancellor/Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training, Chairman of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, Secretary of the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, NAVTTC, NSU Senate, and Advisory Council Members for their unwavering support and commitment to our shared vision. Your kind support is invaluable, and together, we will chart new frontiers in skills education, research in technological forefronts, and innovation, leaving a lasting legacy for generations to come. 

Last but not least, let us embrace the spirit of resilience, determination, and excellence that defines the NSU community. Together, we will rise to the challenges of our time and emerge stronger, more resilient, and better equipped with the contemporary education and skills required to shape a brighter future for our nation and beyond.

Once again, welcome to Session 2024 and young and bright minds joining us to enjoy our world-class educational facilities, including state-of-the-art laboratories, a well-stocked library, and a vibrant campus life. I am also thankful to students returning from their summer vacations. Let's continue the journey of excellence at the National Skills University Islamabad step by step. As we all know, There is no elevator to success. We have to take the stairs wisely and keep rising and shining.
