The Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Artificial Intelligence) is a specialized undergraduate degree designed to prepare students for emerging roles in the rapidly expanding field of Artificial Intelligence and intelligent digital systems. The growing adoption of AI across government, industry, healthcare, agriculture, finance, education, manufacturing, and smart technologies has created a strong demand for skilled AI technologists who can design, develop, and deploy practical AI-based solutions. This program is developed to equip students with a strong combination of theoretical knowledge, hands-on technical skills, analytical thinking, and ethical understanding required to address modern technological challenges. Students in this program will develop competency in key areas such as programming for Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing, big data analytics, data visualization, AI governance, and intelligent system development. The curriculum follows a project-based and practical learning approach, enabling students to solve real-world problems through AI models, data-driven applications, automation tools, and industry-relevant technologies. A distinctive feature of this program is the inclusion of two semesters of supervised industrial training, which provides students with direct exposure to professional environments and real-time AI applications. These internships help students understand industry needs, work on practical AI projects, and develop professional confidence before graduation. The curriculum is aligned with the requirements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR), where Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, IoT, automation, cloud computing, and cyber-physical systems are transforming modern industries. Emphasis is placed on cognitive, affective, and psychomotor learning domains to ensure the holistic development of students. As a result, graduates of this program will be prepared as industry-ready AI technologists, capable of developing responsible, ethical, and innovative AI solutions for society, industry, and national development.
The mission of the B.E. Tech (Artificial Intelligence) program is to produce industry-ready AI technologists equipped with technical, analytical, and ethical skills. The program emphasizes hands-on learning, real-world problem-solving, and practical proficiency in AI, machine learning, data science, and intelligent systems. By integrating emerging AI tools, automation, and industry-based applications, the program promotes innovation, teamwork, and continuous professional development. It is committed to preparing graduates who can develop responsible AI solutions and contribute effectively to the digital transformation of society and industry.
To become a leading program in producing highly skilled Artificial Intelligence technologists capable of developing smart and innovative digital solutions. Our graduates will be equipped with the skills required to design, implement, and manage AI-based systems for industry, business, education, and society. The program’s vision is to prepare future AI professionals who combine technical expertise with ethical responsibility and problem-solving abilities. It aims to contribute to technological advancement by developing graduates who can lead innovation in an increasingly intelligent and automated world.
