Department of Civil Engineering Technology

The Civil Engineering Technology (CET) department at National Skills University (NSU) is one of its kind in the country, which focuses mainly on developing job-ready skills in students rather than giving theoretical concepts. The CET department is continuously engaged in providing a learning platform for all students in the field. It offers a four-year degree program in Civil Engineering Technology and short courses, depending on the market need, to facilitate all personnel in the said field.

The department is well equipped with state-of-the-art modern lab technology having the latest equipments for surveying, construction materials, fluid mechanics, geotechnical engineering & highway engineering.

To provide a quality and effective learning environment in order to inculcate technical skills, comprehensive knowledge, critical thinking, effective teamwork, and leadership qualities to produce highly competent civil engineering technologists that can provide practical and sustainable solutions across multidisciplinary fields and work for the well-being of society.

The CET department makes students eligible for jobs in several sectors which include but are not limited to engineering design & planning, construction contracting & project management, infrastructure planning, contracting firms. Apart from that, the short courses offered by the department can help students to upgrade their resumes during and even after graduation.
