BS Fintech and E-Commerce


The Department of Management Sciences plans to offer a 4-year undergraduate degree program in Fintech and E-Commerce, designed to provide students with comprehensive knowledge and skills in financial technology, digital commerce, and business innovation. The program will focus on the integration of financial services with emerging technologies, equipping students to navigate the rapidly evolving landscape of digital finance, blockchain, payment systems, and e-commerce platforms. It will further emphasize strategic decision-making, data-driven analysis, and innovative solutions relevant to modern business practices.

Program Goals for BS Fintech and E-Commerce

1. Ethical Considerations in Digital Finance:

The program aims to foster a strong ethical foundation by educating students on responsible financial practices, data privacy, and regulatory compliance within the fintech and e-commerce sectors.

2. Analytical and Strategic Decision-Making:

The program seeks to develop students’ analytical and strategic thinking skills by equipping them with the ability to assess financial data, identify market trends, and implement data-driven business strategies.

3. Communication and Customer Interaction Skills:

The program is designed to enhance students’ communication and customer interaction abilities, preparing them to effectively present fintech solutions, manage digital marketing campaigns, and handle customer inquiries in the e-commerce landscape.

4. Core Fintech and E-Commerce Knowledge:

The program provides in-depth knowledge in the areas of financial technology, digital payments, blockchain applications, online marketplaces, and regulatory frameworks, bridging academic concepts with industry applications.

5. Technological and Financial Tools Proficiency:

The program intends to equip students with proficiency in fintech and e-commerce technologies, including blockchain systems, payment gateways, data analytics tools, and digital marketing platforms, enabling them to effectively implement innovative financial solutions.
