The goals of the Medical Lab Technology program are to:

• Establish competence in the field of Medical Laboratory Technology.
• Demonstration of knowledge consistent with the advance Medical Laboratory Techniques.

• Contribute to the needs of the technically skilled professionals in the Medical Laboratory field.

• PEO 1:Competency in the full range of clinical laboratory tests and procedures.
• PEO 2:Responsibility in areas such as quality control, clinical decision making, supervision, analysis, and education
• PEO 3:Preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment and instruments or refer to the appropriate source for repairs
• PEO 4:Professional conduct and interpersonal communication skills with patients, laboratory personnel, other health care professionals, and the public
